Lions Heart Counseling has insurance agreements and provides direct billing to:

Straight Medicare, MHN, Health Net, Optum and United Health Care.

(Please Note we do not work with United Health Medicare Advantage, Medi CAL or EAP or employee Assistance Plans)

Lions Heart Counseling staff can provide direct or third party billing to your insurance company.  Often, we can check your counseling and outpatient mental health benefits, through the insurers web portal. Please be aware that session fees are your responsibility and sometimes insurance companies require prior authorization and have complex billing arrangements. As always your most accurate information should come directly thru your insurance company.
