Our Aging Parents Support Group

In Our Aging Parents Support Group you will explore community resources, funding supports, care giving and placement resources in a supportive environment. This group will bolster your knowledge, understanding and confidence in caring for an elderly or dependent adult. We will discuss symptoms of aging, dementia, alzheimers disease, develop a deeper understanding of these symptoms and how to support your family in maintaining dignity, respect and  independence while balancing your resources and well being.

When you finish this group, you will have a toolkit of resources and the confidence to make educated decisions. You will make new connections and have a supportive group to draw strength, resources and knowledge from. This is a five week group limited to eight people.

A free introductory session will be offered Tuesday December 9th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm
